The Islamic World Youth Academy holds a lecture entitled “Basics of Lobbying and Advocacy”
The Islamic World Youth Academy held a new lecture within the program “Training leaders of a youth organization,” entitled “Basics of Lobbying and Advocacy,” in the presence of about 80 participants in the program via the Zoom platform.
The lecture was the President of the Student Renewal Organization, Mr. Mustafa El Alaoui, using interactive explanation and presentation methods, while the academy administration provides a translation service through an interpreter to suit participants who do not speak Arabic.
In his lecture, El Alaoui touched on multiple titles during the lecture, including: (Advocacy and Lobbying, their concepts, forms, and tools, as well as networking, communication, mobilization, and other titles).
The lecture witnessed broad interaction among the trainee and included questions, inquiries, and answers, followed by evaluation and feedback.
The series of lectures continues within the program “Training leaders of a youth organization” to qualify effective and influential young leaders in their communities who serve the nation’s issues.
It is worth noting that the Academy is one of the projects and outcomes of the Islamic World Youth Forum, which was launched as a comprehensive forum for youth from all Arab and Islamic countries on July 14-15-16, 2022.
The forum, in its second edition for the year 2023, was held on Friday, July 7, 2023, for 3 days, in the Turkish capital, Ankara, with the participation of hundreds of leaders of youth organizations, influencers, and young activists in the Arab and Islamic world, from 45 countries.
The forum is going to achieve its vision aimed at strengthening the relationship and building partnerships with youth institutions in various Arab and Islamic countries, and working to exchange expertise and experiences in various frameworks and bodies.
The forum aims to mobilize youth towards the Palestinian issue, the central issue of the peoples of the Arab and Islamic nation, and to stimulate energies towards supporting this cause through the headings of its constants.
